Last week I opened up our work email account to find that a customer who had been in a store on the eve of our offical opening had written and ordered 3 pairs of earrings and a bracelet! What a great way to start the day, and how nice to know that Rebekah wanted to order some filigree jewellery from us.
I remember when Rebekah and Monia were in our store very clearly, they had not long arrived in Korcula and were looking for some gifts and maybe something for themselves. They spent an hour or so in our small store looking at our jewellery and talking with us, it was fun to meet them and to share a little of our filigree story with them.
Rebekah ordered 2 items that we have in stock and requested some pieces be made just for her sending photos of what she wanted. I know Doka enjoys the challenge of creating something new and today he has been working on the second pair of earrings for Rebekah, the delicate filigree work is coming together and looks beautiful – even at this incomplete stage;
I have been sent some photos to Rebekah, sharing the progress on her order. Next I’ll send her a link to the blog!
Doka and I both agree that the work looks a little finer than what we can see on the original photo sent by Rebekah, I am sure she will be delighted with her purchases and can’t wait to send them on to her.
If you would like to see more of our work please head to our facebook page where you can find a large selection of photos of our jewellery, and more work in progress shots.

Thanks for stopping by. Ruth
beautifıl earings!
Thanks Dianne, I will load a picture of the finished earrings on to our facebook page when the work is complete… they will look even more amazing then. Thanks for leaving your feedback, we really enjoy hearing from our readers.
it just looks awesome 🙂
i bet she will be very pleased when she gets the earrings
i am always amazed how doka is able to handle metal in such a way!
Thanks Helen, I am also amazed at what Doka does with the tiny silver wire that he uses to create such an intricate pattern. The work is so delicate and he and his father both have amazing eyesight, it’s quite remarkable, maybe there is a family jewellery gene that protects their eyesight!
